Early Elementary Camps

Wildlings Summer Camp

The Wildlings Summer Camp is an action-packed, hands-on adventure designed for kids ages 4-6, running from Monday to Thursday each week, from June 23rd to July 31st.

Held at Batiquitos Lagoon, Buena Vista Park, and San Dieguito Park, your child will have the opportunity to explore diverse natural settings that inspire curiosity and creativity. While exact times may vary based on the location, each session promises an engaging and immersive experience in the great outdoors.

Throughout the six weeks, Wildlings will dive deep into nature through exciting and meaningful activities. They’ll practice mindfulness to connect with the environment, learning how to truly observe and appreciate the world around them. Your child will discover the diverse wildlife that calls San Diego home, uncover nature’s hidden patterns, and express their creativity through art. Each week, they’ll also explore real-world environmental challenges and the role humans play in conservation. Whether they’re foraging for plants or bringing stories to life through dramatic play, your child will be encouraged to think critically, act creatively, and grow in their understanding of the natural world.

To ensure your child is fully prepared, please bring a child-size backpack, a 12oz or larger water bottle, sunscreen, a hat for shade or warmth, sturdy hiking shoes or boots, an extra set of clothes, and a balanced, low-sugar lunch and snacks. By the end of the camp, your child will have developed new skills, gained a deeper connection to nature, and collected plenty of stories and memories to share.
